Meet Christie

She is the Clinical Compliance Consultant at Obok, and has been in the field of behavior analysis for almost 20 years while serving as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst since 2010.  Her experience comes from serving as an Autism Consultant for the South Dakota Center for Disabilities where she provided outreach services to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families and other stakeholders.  In addition, she participated in comprehensive diagnostic evaluations for individuals with ASD and conducted assessments and training opportunities for students within the Leadership Education In Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) clinic.  Christie also served various roles within a local ABA company including, but not limited to: Behavior Technician, Clinical Supervisor, and Vice President of Clinical Services.  Her primary areas of focus included providing high quality services to individuals with ASD and other disabilities while also overseeing and supervising BCBAs in case supervision and program development.  

Christie’s most recent role comes as a consultant for ABA companies focusing on the areas of Clinical Quality Assurance and Clinical Compliance.  In addition to her various roles within her career, she served on the South Dakota Association for Behavior Analysis board as a treasurer for three years and has been a past member of the Association for Behavior Analysis International (ABAI) and holds current membership within the Association for Professional Behavior Analysts (APBA).  Christie has a passion for leading and mentoring teams in a way that is collaborative and  supportive.  She values leading by example and empowering individuals to grow within their professional development.  As a leader, she emphasizes the importance of strong communication and consistent support to allow others to reach their fullest potential.  

When Christie is not busy focusing on her career, she is a wife and a mom to two daughters who keep her busy with swimming and fine arts activities.
